Premack Rogers is offering an experienced associate-level attorney the opportunity to practice transactional law with us in the digital entertainment and video game industries. With the mentorship of experienced entertainment attorneys, you will grow and participate in all aspects of legal representation for our clients in this rapidly growing field, including:

• Entertainment licensing, including feature film and television properties to video games.

• Influencer and digital advertising agreements.

• Publishing and distribution transactions.

• Entity formation and management.

• Copyright and trademark management, registration, and enforcement.

• Content creator rights and protections.

• Investment and financing transactions.

• Numerous other aspects of intellectual property, contract, securities, and transactional law as applied to the entertainment and video game industries.

 

Our associate attorney will work with experienced attorneys to conduct legal research, review, and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements and legal business documents, assist in providing legal consultation to our clients, which include high-profile internet influencers, game designers, video game publishers, and software developers.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a licensed attorney practicing intellectual property, technology, and/or entertainment law and must also meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Admitted to practice in at least one state in the United States (Federal Court admission is a plus).

• Strategic and creative thinker capable of finding sound legal solutions based on practical business judgment.

• Self-starter with a keen interest in intellectual property and transactional law as it relates to interactive media.

• Ability to independently conduct research and provide senior attorneys legal recommendations and opinions.

• Outstanding written and oral communications.

• Attention to detail.

• A passion for video games and the future of interactive media.
